Champions & Supporters Who Helped SUBP Grow

Why This Page Exists?

Understanding China is no longer optional—but waiting for the U.S. education system to catch up—specifically in how it teaches about modern China— is not an option either. That’s why we created SUBP.

Our first-ever quantitative study confirmed the urgent gap in how American students understand modern China. SUBP was created to fill that gap—but as a small nonprofit with no external funding, we can’t do it alone.

The full program cost for SUBP 2025 is over $7,000—reflecting the extensive academic instruction, industry exposure, leadership training, public speaking development, lifelong networking opportunities, and full logistical support students receive throughout the 30-day immersive experience.   To ensure accessibility, SUBP provides a $3,500 tuition reduction to admitted students, bringing their final cost down to $3,500.

We do this without institutional funding, corporate sponsorship, or government backing. To keep SUBP sustainable and accessible, we rely on educators, schools, organizations, and community members who helped bring SUBP to more students.

This page is our way of recognizing those individuals and institutions. If you are listed here, it means you helped a student discover SUBP. If we missed your name or organization or you’d like to be removed, please contact us.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
