SHSAT Summer Camp Info

Our Mission Youth4AM stands as a unique and comprehensive SHSAT preparation program, offering students the advantage of learning from highly experienced professional teachers with over 20 years of SHSAT expertise. In addition, our students receive personalized one-on-one tutoring sessions from exceptional teacher assistants (TAs) hailing from esteemed high schools within New York City, including Stuyvesant, Bronx Science, Hunter, Townsend Harris, and others. These TAs, chosen for their outstanding academic achievements, maintain a minimum GPA requirement of 92. Beyond its role as an SHSAT Prep, Youth4AM is a visionary five-year leadership development initiative, thoughtfully curated by the New York Residents Alliance (NYRA), a federally registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our core mission revolves around nurturing future leaders, instilling vital soft and hard skills in high school students, thus preparing them for their college journey and subsequent careers. At Youth4AM, we strongly emphasize the value of community service, encouraging students to embrace integrity and actively contribute to the betterment of our society for the benefit of future generations. Furthermore, our program seeks to inspire and empower the youth to embrace their dual identities, fostering an environment where they confidently express their opinions in American democracy. By promoting values such as diligence, progress, and familial harmony, we endeavor to cultivate a generation of young leaders who take pride in embodying excellent values and advocating positive change. What is Youth4AM’s SHSAT Preparation Summer Camp? The New York Residents Alliance (NYRA), a federally registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been proudly organizing a 6-week SHSAT Preparation Summer Camp since 2019. Our primary mission is to advocate for the equal rights and safety of Chinese Americans in education. Through this camp, we aim to nurture future leaders by providing SHSAT tutoring and comprehensive program management training. What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to community service, rather than profit-driven motives, which has earned us recognition and certification from 10+ local elected officials. It is important to note that all our staff members are dedicated volunteers who do not receive compensation for their services. Their passion lies in contributing to the betterment of the community by empowering students through education and support. Why Youth4AM?
