Sino-US Bridge Program (SUBP) 2025 Application

Apply NOW!  Limited spots with tuition reduction.

Why SUBP?

SUBP: The Premier U.S.-China Exchange Focused on High-Tech, Higher Education & Leadership

Understanding China is no longer optional, yet outdated U.S. education on modern China and biased narratives leave students unprepared for its rapid advancements.   Our first-ever quantitative study on American students’ knowledge of modern China confirmed this gap—but systemic reform won’t happen fast enough. Technology doesn’t wait.

That’s why the Sino-US Bridge Program (SUBP) was created—an original, expertly designed 30-day, data-driven, immersive program led by U.S. PhDs and MBAs with global expertise to prepare American students to navigate and lead in an evolving global landscape.

SUBP does not teach you everything in 30 days—but it equips you with the right foundation: exposure, skills, network, and direction to continue learning, making smart decisions, and leading in a globally competitive environment.

If you believe success requires IQ, EQ, hard work, and even luck—but most importantly, recognizing and pursuing the right opportunities, then SUBP is designed for you. Even better, success isn’t a solo journey. Being surrounded by like-minded, driven peers amplifies individual potential.

At the March 8, 2025, information session, SUBP 2024 alumni and parents reaffirmed that this is exactly what SUBP provides—direction, leadership, and lifelong connections.

Post-Program Impact – Eight Months After SUBP 2024

Shaping Career & Academic Paths

Students expanded their academic focus, integrating technology in healthcare, machine learning in business, and international business in economics after first hand exposure to China’s advancements.

Beyond Exposure—Leadership & Professional Development

Students built leadership confidence, improved public speaking, strengthened networking skills, and developed strategic thinking—while forming lifelong professional and peer connections.

Parent Perspectives:  Why SUBP Stands Out  “Why Parents & Students Choose SUBP Over Other China Programs”

Parents— executives in tech and finance—compared SUBP to other China exchange programs and emphasized:

“Other programs focus on culture—SUBP builds professional skills, leadership, and real-world industry exposure.

“Unlike short-term ‘tourist-style’ trips, SUBP provides structured learning, hands-on experience, and meaningful professional engagement.

“I initially doubted SUBP, but my child came back transformed—more confident, knowledgeable, and globally aware.

“SUBP provided exclusive access to industry leaders, top universities, and high-level networking—opportunities students wouldn’t have otherwise.”

SUBP isn’t just a trip—it’s an investment in your future. It equips you with the insights, connections, and leadership mindset needed to succeed in a globally connected world.

SUBP 2024 Testimonials

  • Our use of the phrase “outdated education on Modern China” refers specifically to the K–12 level (high school and below) in the United States. Based on preliminary reviews of publicly available curricula, textbooks, and student feedback, we have found that most U.S. schools still focus primarily on ancient Chinese history or Cold War–era diplomacy, with very limited coverage of China’s transformation since 2000, especially developments after 2010 in areas such as mobile technology, AI, green energy, and higher education.

We acknowledge that our research base is limited, and we are not educational experts. We are a group of concerned parents and educators aiming to raise awareness of this critical gap. We welcome input and collaboration from scholars, institutions, and practitioners to improve our understanding and expand the evidence base behind this observation.
